He is a firefighter (rank of Sergeant) and a nationaly credentialed Arson Investigator for 15 years now as of 2009. He enjoys computers, the internet, gaming on console and PC, the outdoors, and problem-solving.

He is a writer and a photo-journalist (freelance).
He plays the drums and dabbles in music.
